A song for Sunday

I suspect that music lovers on both sides of the secular-vs-religious divide can enjoy this one. Steve Martin and his bluegrass band perform “Atheists Don’t Have No Songs”, one of the numbers on “Rare Bird Alert”, an album which also contains a terrific version of that classic, “King Tut”.  Martin’s recent films have been so dismal that it’s a relief to discover he still knows how to be funny. His banjo-plucking shows are a lovely mixture of music and stand-up.
